Store settings
Business details, currency, tax, and the basics every order depends on.
Settings holds the handful of things about your business that everything else reads. Credentials for outside services live in Integrations instead.
General
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Brand name | Your store's name. Appears in the header, page titles, emails and invoices. |
| Site URL | Your store's address. Used to build links in emails and messages — if it is wrong, links in order emails point at the wrong place. |
| Brand logo | Upload rather than paste a URL. PNG with a transparent background works best; it is kept as-is rather than converted, so transparency survives. |
| Default meta description | The fallback description for pages that have none of their own. |
| Default share image | 1200 × 630 px. Used when someone shares a link to a page with no image of its own. |
| robots.txt | Edited here rather than over FTP. Leave it alone unless you know why you are changing it. |
Tax
A single tax rate, applied to orders and broken out separately on each one. Set this before you take a real order — changing it later does not correct orders already placed, and those are what your accountant will look at.
Per-product HSN codes are set on the product, not here. The rate here is what gets charged; the HSN is what appears on a GST invoice. Both matter, and they are in different places.
Shipping defaults
| Flat rate | Charged when no other rule produces a price. |
| Free shipping over | Order value above which shipping is not charged. Leave empty to never give free shipping. |
| Shipping markup % | Added to live courier rates. Use it if you do not want to pass courier prices through at cost. |
Zones and per-weight rates are configured under Shipping — these are only the fallbacks.
Cart recovery
| Abandon after | Minutes of inactivity before a cart counts as abandoned. Too short and you chase people who are still shopping. |
| Maximum messages | A hard cap on how many times one cart is chased. Respect it — this is the difference between a nudge and harassment. |
Integrations
Everything that needs credentials from an outside service:
| Integration | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Razorpay | Taking payments — UPI, cards, net banking, wallets |
| Shiprocket | Live courier rates, booking shipments, tracking |
| Email (SMTP) | Order confirmations, receipts, marketing email |
| WhatsApp Cloud API | Order updates, cart recovery, the shopping concierge |
| DMs and comment replies in the same inbox | |
| Meta Pixel & CAPI | Conversion tracking and attribution |
| Google Analytics 4 | Page views and ecommerce events |
| AI | Content drafting and the shopping concierge |
| Storage & CDN | Where product images and video are stored and served |
Each has a Test button. Use it — it verifies the credentials actually work rather than only that you typed something.
Secrets are write-only. Once saved, a password or key is never shown back to you. Leaving a secret field blank means keep the current value, not "clear it".
